Monitoring NELTI (between 01.07.2009 and 15.03.2011)

Careful monitoring of shipments was an important element of the IRU NELTI Phase-2. UNESCAP methods have been applied as a basis for monitoring.

Drivers involved in the project fixed in special logbooks all relevant data on movements, border crossings, enforced stops, road conditions and ancillary infrastructure, official dues and illegal levies, as well as any problems and infringements encountered.
